JONATHAN EDWARDS ~ Vocals / Guitar
Since 1971, Music Legend Jonathan Edward has released 15 albums and been playing his classic hit songs like "Shanty" (Gonna sit down in the kitchen and fix me something good to eat and make my head a little high and make this whole day complete, cuz we gonna lay around the shanty mama and get a good buzz on), "Sunshine (Go Away Today)","Honky Tonk Stardust Cowboy", "Sometimes", "One Day Closer", "Don’t Cry Blue", "Emma",  "Everybody Knows Her", "Athens County" and more... they're all songs of passion, songs of insight, songs filled with whit and humor, all rendered in a pure and powerful tenor which, like fine wine, only gets better with age.  For his 16th album, Jonathan says, “Young people that are getting back to the land and trying to get off the power grid encourage me. My next studio album will reflect some of those themes.”

KATE TAYLOR ~ Vocals / Guitar
Born in Boston as a member of one of the most famous musical families in America. Her brothers are James Taylor, Livingston Taylor, Hugh Taylor, and Alex Taylor (now passed). James Taylor's career has been particularly successful.  Kate started her first band when she was 15 and recorded her first album at 19. Her second album in 1978 was titled "Kate Taylor" it was produced by her brother James and Lew Hahn on Columbia Records. It was well received, one of the songs was "It's in His Kiss (The Shoop Shoop Song)", which done as a duet with her brother James, it peaked at number 49 on the Billboard charts.  Kate took some time away from music, settled down in Martha's Vineyard to raise two daughters.  She came back to the music scene in 2003 when she released "Beautiful Road".  Since then she has been touring in New England, New York, and the Southern states. She was a feature performer at the 2008 Newport Folk Festival in Rhode Island. In August 2009 Kate released a DVD titled "Kate Taylor: Tunes from the Tipi and other Songs from Home." This documentary film traces the Taylor family's and Kate's musical history, a journey from Chapel Hill, North Carolina to Martha's Vineyard.

JAMES MONTGOMERY ~ Vocals / Harmonica
When Blues Legend James Montgomery plays the harmonica, he "brings it on home." Whether it's recording with Kid Rock, sitting in with Gregg Allman, or fronting his hot band of thirty years, Montgomery plays with authority. While growing up in Detroit he learned first-hand from the masters - James Cotton, John Lee Hooker, and Jr. Wells at the legendary "Chessmate." Over the years, he's carried on in the tradition and continues to be a vital presence in Blues as one of the most dynamic performers on the scene.  James has performed on stage with a very long list of Blues and Rock greats including B.B.King, Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, John Lee Hooker, Jr. Wells, James Cotton, Bonnie Raitt, Duke Robillard, Johnny Winter Band, The Blues Brothers (Jim Belushi, Dan Akroyd), Steven Tyler, Bruce Springsteen, Charlie Daniels, The Allman Brothers, Steve Miller Band, J. Geils Band, Huey Lewis, Rick Derringer, Barry Goudreau (formerly Boston), Billy Squire, and the list goes on and on... including an impromptu session with Mick Jagger at New York's "Trax" where he gave Mick a few pointers on harmonica.

Davi Santos is an Acoustic Rock, Singer, Songwriter, Guitarist and Keyboard player who moved from his home in Brazil to Florida in 2001.  For the next seven years he played music in Naples, Fort Myers and Southwest Florida. In 2008 he packed up his bags and instruments, heading north to Virginia where he played in various venues for the next two years. Being restless for new adventures and more experiences he departed for New England in 2010. Since then he has been performing in venues around Massachusetts and New Hampshire including, The Dugout Cafe (Boston), 6B Lounge (Boston), The Lizard Lounge (Cambridge), The Cantab Lounge (Cambridge), Tommy Doyles's (Cambridge), Independence Bar & Grill (Chelmsford), Brother's Sports Bar (Dracut), The Chit Chat Lounge (Haverhill), Cafe Verde (Lawrence), Studio 99 (Nashua), The Round Room Coffee House (Mount Vernon), Tupelo Music Hall (Londonderry), and many more...

Davi Santos began developing his finger-picking guitar style after seeing James Taylor.  He fell in love with the way James performs, especially his songwriting and lyrics. Davi says, the message of a song means a lot to him, he pays very close attention to it, that's why he became a songwriter, because he feels music delivers messages in a way that no other vehicle can.  John Mayer is another influence who blew Davi away with his musicality and deep meanings in songs like... "In Repair" and "Stop This Train".  Jason Mraz’s performances are an inspiration in the way he brings so much life into every song he plays. The Dave Matthews Band with their grooves makes Davi want to get up and dance to their syncopated beats. These are just a few of the artists that inspire Davi Santos.  He blends them all together to create his own unique sound and delivers them with foot moving energy to his ever growing audience.

To classify this world class guitar trio as simply instrumental music doesn't come close to doing the band justice. Here you will find many styles of music, effortlessly blended together into a totally unique live experience. From the minimalist strains of songs like “Portland Rain”, to exciting and intricate flamenco stylings, and everything between contemporary crunchy guitar to classical guitar styles, from gypsy to jazz, you never know what to expect from one song to the next. Then, just when you think that maybe you ARE getting a feel for the overall sound of the show, they hit you with a song which defies categorization with its creative writing.

In space, CGT’s music was played to wake the astronauts aboard the NASA space shuttle “Endeavor”. Here on Earth, the trio’s music has been featured extensively on NPR, NBC’s Olympics coverage, and various CBS, CNN, and ESPN TV programs.

Their performances astounding, and diversity unparalleled, these three revered musicians are not actually natives of the "Golden State." The California Guitar Trio (CGT) is Bert Lams from Belgium, Hideyo Moriya from Japan, and Paul Richards from Utah. Together, their technical wizardry is breathtaking, as is the wide range of instrumental music the group renders... everything from unique originals to dazzling, cleverly-arranged interpretations of jazz, classical music, and even surf rock.

Since their inception in 1991, the Trio has released 12 CDs: seven studio albums (including a Christmas record), four live releases (including An Opening Act from their 1995 worldwide tour with King Crimson) and the recent compilation Highlights, featuring their most popular original works as well classics from Bach’s "Toccata and Fugue" and Beethoven's 9th to Chantays' "Pipeline" and Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody." On screen, CGT can be seen in documentary Following the Music: On The Road w/ California Guitar Trio (©2004 Stone Chapel Films) and the new Hi-Def multi-camera shoot of an intimate house concert in 2009.
