Martin is the weirdest kid in our class. He looks like a relative of the Addams Family, and he believes that a person's dream has significant meanings. It happened that our science teacher asked us to write an essay about something unusual. What Martin wrote was hard to believe.

Our attention was fixed to Martin, as he read his work. It was about his family's picnic in a park near where they live. He lied down after they were done eating the sandwiches and chips that his mother prepared for them. Something extraordinary happened to Martin after he gave in to sleep.

He was escorted by ants to their kingdom, and treated him as a special guest for a week. He woke up when he bid farewell to the queen. He was startled, as he remembered every detail of that dream. Then he noticed a small group of ants that encircled a crumb of the sandwich he ate before he slept.

Silence filled the classroom for several minutes. It was broken when Miss Conway remarked that she liked Martin's story a lot. Martin grinned, as he expects an A for his essay.
